Air Hockey is an exciting and fast-paced virtual game for all ages, allowing players to compete against the computer or challenge their friends to a multiplayer match across different platforms. Inspired by the classic arcade game, Air Hockey brings the fun and vibrant atmosphere of the classic arcade to the web!
The objective of Air Hockey is to score more goals than your opponent by flicking a disc into their goal. The game is made for two players and can also be played against the computer. The game is played in three rounds, and the winner is the player who scores the most goals in the three rounds.
The game is set up on a virtual rink with two goals, one at each end, and a disc to be played with. On the sides of the rink, you have your various controls to help you play the game. To the left and right, you have your paddles that help you move the disc, and each player can also rotate their disc by pressing the space bar, creating spin and momentum. In the center of the rink is the puck which players must flick into the goal.
Players take turns shooting at their opponent's goal. Once a player has the puck, they can move it by pushing it with their paddle. The player can also use their paddle to block the opponent's shot and prevent them from scoring a goal. The game is won by the player who first reaches 10 points, or the player who has the most goals at the end of the game.
Air Hockey is developed by HyperBees, an independent game studio based in San Francisco, CA.
Air Hockey was released in September 2017.
For those who want a similar game experience, Air Hockey is similar to Curveball and Breakout.
You can move the puck using the arrow keys or mouse.
Air Hockey allows for two players to play at a time.
